At Destiny House Restoration Center, we are committed to empowering survivors of human trafficking through holistic healing, safe housing, and comprehensive restoration programs. Based in Prescott Valley, Arizona, our mission is to provide a pathway to freedom and recovery for those who have endured exploitation. As we reflect on the past two years, we’ve seen a surge in law enforcement operations targeting human trafficking and related crimes across the state. These efforts have resulted in hundreds of arrests, disrupting networks of exploitation and rescuing victims. While these operations are crucial for community safety, they also underscore the urgent need for trauma-informed support services to help survivors rebuild their lives.
In this article, we’ll summarize some of the most notable anti-human trafficking sting operations in Arizona from 2024 to 2025, drawing from reliable news sources. These initiatives, often involving multi-agency collaborations, focus on arresting sex buyers, traffickers, and those involved in child exploitation. We’ll highlight key details, including arrest numbers, dates, and involved agencies, while emphasizing how such actions align with our work in victim recovery.
1. Scottsdale Human Trafficking Sting (February 2024)In early 2024, the Scottsdale Police Department’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT) led a 12-day multi-agency operation that netted 158 arrests.

The sting targeted sex buyers, child predators, and individuals involved in the sex trade, with charges including child sex trafficking, prostitution, and attempted sexual conduct with minors. No actual children were involved, as decoys were used to ensure safety. Participating agencies included Phoenix Police, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and others from across the Valley. This operation highlighted the persistent demand driving trafficking in urban areas.
