The Quarters for Safe Quarters program invites your church, synagogue, youth group, or community organization to collect quarters and loose change monthly, donating the total to Destiny House Restoration Center. “My sister and I were just teenagers when we were drawn to Las Vegas. Everyone talks about the city’s bright lights and big dreams. But for us, it quickly turned into a nightmare. We thought we were heading for good jobs and a fresh start. Instead, we got trapped in a world where people were bought and sold. Las Vegas might be a dream for some, but for us, it felt like a prison.
A Sister’s Story
There’s a story about a man walking on a beach filled with starfish. They were all washed up on the shore, and there were thousands of them. As he walked, he saw a kid picking up starfish and gently throwing them back into the sea.
The Starfish Parable
Our bimonthly mentorship program, rooted in compassion and tailored to each survivor’s unique experience, provides a nurturing environment where individuals can find hope, rediscover their purpose, and embrace a restored destiny. With a focus on holistic healing, we empower survivors to move beyond merely surviving, equipping them with the tools and support needed to thrive emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
